Default need info on a 98itr vs a 01 itr

ok guys i want to know all the diff from a 98 itr and a 01 itr? please do not tell me to search. i didn't find everything i wanted to know. i want to know what the 01 has that the 98 dosen't. I just lost my 01 itr do to a hit in run, and i an lookinf in to buying "jdmcwitr"'s 98 which is mint his motor has 51k on it and mine has 21k so i was thinking of swaping it and selling one. i've had my motor for sale but can not get what i want for her. but i know the 01 has one itr cam and one ctr. i do not think the 98 is the same. and i also thnik the trany is set up diff. any help or ideas would be nice thanks guys.

this is what i found from the search.
Integra Type-R(Through 1999 Spec)
Int-240 dur. / 11.5mm lift
Exh-235 dur. / 10.5mm lift

Civic Type-R And Integra Type-R(Integra Type R 2000/01 Spec)
Int-243 dur. / 11.5mm lift
Exh-235 dur. / 10.5mm lift

Why would you switch the motor? The mileage isn't that bad. Just do a compression/ leak dwon test. Better to have matching vins than 30k less miles IMO.

assuming your talking about USDM spec: Floor mats are different, carbon fiber interior trim pieces for 00/01, color availibility, cams.

You're already aware of the most significant difference, which is the intake cam.

Don't overanalyze it.

If you like the '98 and it's a good price, go ahead. Things like the carbon fiber trim and the leather shift **** vs metal shift ****, if it has AC, it's all a matter of taste and does not subordinate the '98 to the '01.

They're all very tiny changes that are not very relevant if the '98 is a car in good condition. I'd drive a '98 any time.

Plus, steering rack (slightly faster ratio of '00), ECU, shift ****, valve springs. All of the mechanical changes are virtually undetectable even if you drive them back to back.
