Lets talk realistic values
looking to sell my 00 Type R and want to know what a good fair market value would be. I have 93k on the odometer but I still have the 100k warranty. Located in Florida. I usually drive over 500 miles a week with my new job and I dont really get to enjoy the car like I used to(sittin in tampa traffic) . So I want to hurry up and sell the car while I can get the most money for it. Help me gauge a good sales price.

I'd think its a little too late for that ... just kep driving it, especially if it isn't giving you any (mechanical) trouble.

93K is a lot of miles for a 2000 ITR. If it were a '98 with those miles, assuming decent overall condition (but consistent with the mileage), and assuming it's bone stock or close, it might be worth $12-14K, I would think. So since the 2000 is a couple years newer, I would guess $13.5-15K, maybe $15.5K if you get really really lucky (but I wouldn't count on it).
If you can take your time selling it, start high, and you can always lower the price if it doesn't sell. If you have to sell it quickly, you won't have that luxury.
Good luck.

Im going to be the oddball. When my 2000 ITR #968 was stolen last year, the insurance company paid out a grand total of $25,580. Once again, I am the oddball. I would say around 16k for your R.

What do you mean when you say "grand total"? I assume that includes something like $2,000 just for sales tax that you would need to spend to buy another one. Were there other adjustments, such as for aftermarket equipment or contents?

Hey, we're driving a car for which there are only a few thousand in the entire United States. That means we're all the oddball.

What I mean by "grand total" means how much I was given a check for. There were no adjustments for aftermarket parts. It worked out to be:
Assessed Loss + .06% - $500 deductible = $25,580

I bought one with 80k its a 00 and I payed 10. So if you got time you might be able to get more.

So they gave you $24,604 for the car itself, plus 6 percent tax ($1,476), less the $500 deductible.
Sounds like a helluva deal!

Yes. The insurance company could not come up with a predetermined value on their own due to the rarity of the car. To get the value of the car for my area, they contacted the 3 closest acura dealerships to my zip code. They literally asked for a written statement as what they would sell a 200 ITR with the mileage and all other details for. They then took the average of the quotes, and that was the determined value. I lucked out since my car was still capable of being sold as a certified pre-owned, and one dealer in my area quoted over the original sticker price, the other two quoted the original sticker price. As I said before, I am an oddball.
As for the car in question, 15-16k would be a reasonable price.
