Help! Quick! Just Broke LCA Bolt!!!

Default Help! Quick! Just Broke LCA Bolt!!!

Well, **** it happened. Installing my new D2's and then the bolt has to break off. I need to know if I can Just hammer it out w/ a BFH and a punch, or if i have to drill it out or get a new LCA... This is a bad day for me. Everyting is going wrong.... *&%$@)*%*&%)*@$&%)*&@%$)*&%@$)*&% /rant

quit being a bitch. do whatever you need to do to get the control arm out of there, use a hacksaw if needed, and press the bushing out and replace it with a new bushing and bolt.

Why dont you shut the **** up and actually contribute something you ***** *** bitch. Ill take a ****** hacksaw to your LCA then. Are you being serious?!

I happen to not exactly have the cash flow a 30 year-old man. im 17 and work weekends at a local restraunt at 5.50/hr. so i cant just hack up control arms like i have oodles of cash to blow on some " LCA bling"

replace your bushing.

i didnt say saw off your LCA. you didnt even explain which bushing/bolt broke off, and you didnt say what exactly is the problem. some ppl have had to saw off the nut in order to take the control arm off, in order to replace the bushing. dont ******* come here whining and asking for any sympathy.

Hack through the shock fork. Once that's off press the bushing and rest of bolt off...press new bushing in and use a new OEM bolt/nut. Make sure to use anti-sieze to prevent same problem in future.

A quit whining.
