Default texas shop questions

ok, so for awhile now ive decided to go turbo on my R but the only problem is i want to build up the block at the same time < pistons, rings resleeved blah blah blah> but im not sure i trust anyone down here in SA to do the whole set-up for my R i mean...thats MY R!!!! dont want just anyone seeing her all naked and exposed and doing surgery on her..i mean if i was having heart surgery i sure wouldnt go to just any joe schmo doctor.."todays special-heart surgery 20% off if you do a lung upgrade at the same time!" know what i mean? anyone out there recomened some good shops that have experience with R's and doing this kind of thing? i would be most grateful!

i couldnt agree more.. If you cant do it yourself then you prolly dont need it..

turbo kit is really simple anyhow..

I heard bad stories about every shop in texas i think..

I have yet to hear all good about anyone..

Jotech and Alamo are both overpriced as hell.

just remember you are the only person that will not cut corners when it comes to your car..

It is my true opinion that your not ready for any upgrade you cant do yourself.

I need help with piston, ring & valve seals install. I have an appointment with Jotech next week, but they are charging me an arm and a leg and I not very sure of them neither. Do you know of someone else who would do a good job on this?

Ask this in the FI forum. There are at least 7-8 with turbo integra's in the dfw area that could point you in the right direction.

Whatever you do DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO VSV!! Everything they touch turns to sh*t and they charge way too much.

Why don't you go with a Jackson Racing Super Charger......

I've got one that's trying to find a new home. Hasn't even been poddy trained yet. Will part with for only 1,800.00 and you can pick it up.
