Default Bullish/ Street Glow match race tonight at E-Town

The tune up on the Solara has not been the kindest to the StreetGlow/Bullish Motor Racing team, as the car has been experiencing a hick-up of sorts in the first 60 feet that has plagued the team the last few races. In an attempt to isolate the problem it has been decided to run the car tonight at Englishtown's Night of Thrills! There is supposed to be a IHRA Pro Stocker there with eyes set on beating the already maimed Solara. This was a last minute deal, and should be great fun.

Come on out and check it out!

I don't think those guys are quite ready for an IHRA pro stocker! Good luck to Ara, he's gonna need it!

I wouldn't say Ara is suffering. His race program is just as consistent as anyone else. He is able to go rounds despite being down on power.

And I think its great that Ara is the one stepping up to race people if they are willing. He is an entertainer...he doesn't care if he loses. He just wants to put on a show. Ara

i think ARA has went high 6.60s this year without George....i think when Goerge was on board there best e.t. was a low .70
Now he has the stroker with a twin set up I believe.

I beg to differ, they've gone faster w/o him. They are having problems this year but why would you take shots at them? He's created a class all by themselves and the chassis he is running is at least 4 years old now.

Well put by both i don't see anyone else stepping up to the domestic boys. at least ara is out there trying to open the eyes of the domestic world. maybe then we will get bigger turn outs at our events.?.?.

Well....when paul efantis ran the street tire supra he went to alot of domestic street tire event and at one time he held the record for fastest car on street tires and currently holds the record for fastest import on street tires.
Also a few years back Able Ibbarra raced an event with the NSCA and actually won in his class beating out the big dogs like tony christensan, pat musi and a few other big name Pro street guys.

believe it or not there are a couple of imports that run comp eliminator going up against the majority of domestics.and some that even run in the in events like the fastest street car shoot out.

I couldn't agree with brian more!

Also other than titan, MSP and Bullish no one has been playing with the domestic guys. I think it's important and vital to the growth of our version of the sport and the acceptance of the mainstream racers. Wouldn't it be interesting to see a best of sport compact VS IHRA/NHRA stock stock match event?

its obvious the problem is just getting a good tune up with the completly different engine program. i dont understand how people write this guy off. especially when you consider that last season he was one of four guys that could have taken the nhra title at the finals. and also consider that had he not had a mid season accident, missed a race and had to quickly sort out another car ara may have been the champ. that team may be in a slump but i still think they should never be slept on.

This is true, getting a tune isn't an easy thing. You don't have to be the fastest to win, you just got to go the rounds!
