Koni Yellow questions.
my ITR is daily driven and track raced on weekends (circuit).
my race setup is stock except alignment, RA1s and hawk blues.
i was considering the purcahse of koni yellows but have never used them before.
i would probably go with the yellows on stock springs for awhile then possibly revalve and put on real super stiff track springs for next season.
now a main question i have:
koni yellow vs Tein ha?
does it make sence to buy yellows or should i save up and go hard core on susp like jic magic flta2? or tein RA?
is there much of a diffrence for all that money?
i have searched and am looking for answers from people who own yellows and teins. Thanx

I had Yellow's on my 96 Integra LS, along with GC's and Suspension techniques front and rear sway cars (rear competition kit). It handled so great, best suspension I have ever had. So good, that I'm currently looking to do the same to my civic.
The Koni's can be adjusted to full soft, which makes for a great daily driving shock, firm, but really smooth. At full stiff it'll knock your kidneys around good. Excellent adjustment range for setting it up for the track.
With the use of Ground Control coilovers, you can adjust the height how you want it, and its easy to swap out Eibach race springs to tune the suspension how you want.
Also, being that the shocks are steel, they will take abuse, plus the lifetime warranty, you just can't go wrong with that!

i have yellows on my car and they handle great...stiff if i want them to be or soft if i want it...
i personally havent takin the car to the track but on turns in the city they feel great...Koni and GC cant go wrong with them plus you can get custom spring rates or the shocks revavled...so far my spring rates are 450f/400r...

More expensive does not mean better. Get the Konis. They are a much better and cheaper shock. Add a set of Ground Controls next year and you will be perfectly satisfied.
I'd vouch for the Konis as well. If you wanna just use the shocks for now, you can always get the GCs down the road. Also, if you're just interested in stiffening up the back just buy the rear sleeves with whatever rates you want and leave the front springs stock. Not sure if you can just buy sets of 2 sleeves but it never hurts to ask. Good luck
