Default 3rd times a charm, zc or si?

Well, it seems i have no luck whatsoever trying to get an engine locally for my car. Yesterday, the 3rd guy who promised me a good deal, fell through and can't do anything for me.

So, I'm debating doing anything at all.

I have a 89 crx si. AEM CAI and DC Sports header. The SI runs perfect, no leaks, very clean and has been relaible ever since I've owned. Very good little engine. But, it's a tad weaker than I'd like.

I'm considering doing a dohc zc for ease of install, price, all my bolt ons will work with it, and I know I can get one from Hmotors.

Only question is, is there a real difference in power between the 2?

i love the power going from the Si to the ZC. it was great. But you mich want to do like a nitrous kit or something on your d16. If its running great there is no real reason to swap it out IMO
