2001 ELD code
Sup guys, I searched a bit on this site and scoured google with absolutely no luck.
I'm new to OBD2 but I like to educate myself then get down and dirty to fix things.
Ok I have a Black 2001 USDM Civic LX Auto Sedan (yea its a "crappy" Honda if one exists, but my DA Integra is the what i have for ***** and grins.) that I use for a daily driver for the normal Civic ownership reasons. Cheap, reliable, economic, cheap insurance, longevity, etc...
I purchased this car earlier this year with 60,000 on the odometer and recently hit 90,000 miles. So far the car has been great. Ive replaced the air filter with a K&N stock replacement, cabin air filter, synthetic tranny fluid, iridium spark plugs, about 10 Mobile One oil changes and a set of Yokohamma A550s. I like to treat my vehicles very well. I am looking foreward to a timing belt, tensioner, water pump and valve cover gasket replacement before winter. And at the rate I drive I'll probably need brakes and axles by spring.
Sory for the rant, here is the point. A week ago my check engine light comes on, so I pull the code and its for the "ELD" sensor low voltage. What I would like to know is what causees this? What should I look for and test and how can I resolve this issue? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
