FS: '00 B16A2 Head + Block 40K miles - SoCal
Sold
$500 for both obo. I don't know what these go for since it could use new rings. So if too high, let me know.
40,000 miles but could use new rings
FS: b16a2 head + Block from my own 2000 Civic Si. I took my engine out a year ago when I put in a sleeved one.
The head is still attached to the block, they've never been removed from eachother.
Head includes:
stock cams
all cam caps
95% of bolts
basically a complete head minus the distributor and valve cover
Block includes:
everything from the factory, nothing internal has ever been removed nor tampered with. Still has the oil pan on her. Could use new piston rings though. No Crank Pulley either. This would be best to use to be built, then swapped into an existing Si/GSR or any b-series car. No mounts. No flywheel.
I used this motor with my current turbo setup and previous JRSC setup. So its been boosted for about 20,000 miles. I did a compression check once, and I believe the numbers were around 150 across. The engine still good and was pretty strong when I took it out. But I still recommend changing the rings since its out of the car. Toss some ITR pistons in too
The head has never left the block. I only opened up the valve cover because I needed it for my new engine and I think I took a couple bolts for the cam caps cause they were missing from the head I bought and am using now. Its only got 40,000 miles on her and I'd hate to sell it cause I it could come in handy for me for smog issues. But I need some $$$ for a turbo upgrade.
I'm in the bay area, but my best friend is down in San Clemente, where the engine is located (I used to live there) and he will be in town till August 11th before he flies back up here, SF, to where we go to school. So he will be showing the engine. He's supposed to take pics of the engine tonight and then i will post them up as soon as I get them.
Will not part since I am not actually in SoCal and don't want to ask my buddy to do all the work
Thanks for looking.

Sorry, the plastic is still covering it up

I'd like to keep the head and engine togeather since i'm not around to sell it (i'm sorry) but if you'd like you can go and take the head off yourself if it doesn't sell this weekend.
And i'm willing to ship as long as buyer pays shipping and could help out with figuring shipping out
