My rex was bouncy as **** when I first got it. People seem to think it's perfectly fine to throw some stiff 3" lowering springs on 15 year old stock shocks designed to be used with a much longer/softer spring. Needless to say the shocks could not control the springs. I got a deal on some AGX's and have been happy ever since. Try new dampers/shocks.

Racing application springs on a street car. Crappy springs. Car lowered two inches or more. Strut damping doesn't match the springs, the drop, or the road conditions. Struts too long for the drop. Too little profile on the tires. Low quality suspension components. Springs not captive when suspension is at full droop.
You can go on and on but people will still keep doing stupid **** to their suspension to look cool in the eyes of idiots. The rest of the people with this problem are ill informed or too cheap to do it right.
I raised mine up so that at least the front springs are captive and the drop isn't as ridiculous. But these ebay coilovers are pure **** and tokico blues are no good for any drop at all. Probably in bad shape from being dropped in the first place.
