i just got done putting new speakers in the rear of my 5th gen and now i have no tail lights, running lights or gauge lights. i ran speaker wire strait from my previously installed alpine strait back to the speakers. i don't see how this is causing the tail lights to not work. Checked fuses and i am fixing to check them again. Everything else in my car works fine that i know of. WTH??

 

problem solved...blown fuse called "small light." must have not noticed it was blown first time i checked all the fuses...

 

You probably grounded a speaker wire sometime during your installation. For some reason, those are all run off the same fuse. It happened to me when I did a head unit install.

 

what freaks me out is the speakers and the head unit worked fine, but the freakin tail lights quit workin every time i touch anything electrical it seems like...and both times its been a different fuse.
