Default Tanabe or Apexi

I have no idea which one to buy either the Apexi Ws2 or the tanabe super medallion hyper spec cat-back. Also is the tanabe loud at highway speeds I know the apexi is extremely quiet at cruising but is it any louder at highway.

If you want quiet, I say Apexi. I have it and it's great, but it's chambered, so if you're looking to get a lot of power out of your motor it's not for you.

Are you being serious? I've read alot about the Apexi and both my brother and I bought the WSII. It is constructed really well and sounds great. The piping and flanges were real thick too.

thats why its ****..lol its like paying 500ish for little loud sound. no hp gain or better flow. well yes very little better than stock.

i'd say 26" resonator and ES oval muffler.

I'm sure it flows better, its larger in diameter piping and the muffler isn't as restrictive as a stock muffler. Not everyone wants a loud, obnoxious straight thru muffler opposed to a chambered muffler like the WSII. It also has a S.S. muffler/tip and the piping is thicker so it should last a whole lot longer then a stock exhaust. They sell for $400 shipped all the time in the sponsors section too.

Stick the exhaust in an empty room - by itself, it's decently constructed.

Put it on the car, and it's a whole different story. Okay, so it's an exhaust - it has bigger piping, and probably weighs a little less than the stock one.

It's better to plan your entire setup and execute around having the right flow both in and out of the car.

I realize this is a street car, and appearance/noise is a factore here as well. Buying one and slapping it on will offer an improvement, but not the most efficient for the money.
