Default H22 STILL sputters and spitts from exhaust??

I did an 93 JDM h22a swap in my 96 prelude and have done so much to find out my sputtering problem only to FAIL! I bought a new o2 sensor , new Distributor, new wires , new plugs, and even rechecked the wiring to the distributor and it was done right AND i still had a sputter . Well i had a buddy recheck my timming and do a coppression test he said everything looked good.. SOOO i desided to take a real good look at my ECU and i couldnt believe what i saw. It was a AUTOMATIC p13 ECU!!!By the way i have a 5-speed lude. I got on line and found you could convert the auto ECU by pulling the rp11 chip off to make it a manual ECU.. So i did that thinking all would be fixed and only to find the same SPUTTER AGAIN .Also i have no cell!! I did hear my buddy say he didnt know which marked TDC on my Clutch Masters Fly Wheel! Im almost burnt out on this. I need yalls help again . THANKS!!!!

NO stupid free mods done here.. Sometimes i think its just the way it is cuz i have a k-teller custom 4-1 header and a high flow cat and 2.5 exhaust pipe. I think that since it has more flow its just unburnt fuel making little popping noises in my ehaust But then again I could be wrong like i have been! Just a thought tho. Thanks for responding man!!

my RMF header, 2.5" cat, N1 spits and pops....very loud. Sometimes i swear i am shooting flames. It got worse when i put in my chipped p28 just running the basemap.

if you have jdm you will have torx screws on your TPS, just loosen those to turn it. I did mine with the engine running, but if you want to do it properly hook up a multimeter to two wires and adjust it close to the spec in the Helms. Here is a link with more info (for a B series but its all same thing):

Ok for my next question the ECU was an Automatic but i took out pin rp11 to make it manual , is that all thats required to covert it? I did notice my idle was alittle back to normal ,it wasnt idleing high and low like it was before. but now i guess i have to adjust something cuz now my car turns off at every stop. I need to know if i did my ECU is right or if im missing something. And still no cell how bizzare!! THANKS for the help!

ok my buddy came over today to see what was going on with my car. He tells me that he has a Obd1 p72 ECU at his house so he went home to get it . He brought it and he told me he wanted to try it on my h22a to see if it had the same sputter while idleing. AND IT DID so does that mean it could be again wiring related? And also when i did the swap i used my old 96 obd2 harness i just got a obd2-obd1 conversion kit from boomslang. It seemed as if everything was already there on the harness prewired for me i just had to wire in the dizzy and the crank position sensor. But i could be MISSING SOMTHING????? I also used my throttle body off of my old h23 so i never messed with the TPS and MAP sensors.. I went wrong somewhere!! Please help me im so lost now . I apriciate everyones help so far!

Well is it possible to run a stock automatic p13 in a 5 speed lude? That what i was sent when i ordered my engine. Like i said tho i had no cell it was just sputtering from the exhaust. I guess i could get it converted over or just buy a manual ECU. Thanks for you responce bro!
