Default Del Sol seats in an EF? please help!

After many months of searching I recently bought a pair of mint Del Sol seats for my hatch but i'm stumped as to how to do the conversion. I've had 89-90 Integra, 91-93 Integra and civic EK seats in my car before and they went in with little or no modifications. What's the deal with the Del Sol's? Is there a special trick to make them fit? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

when i did it, i took the del sol seat pans off and welded mounts to them to make the crx seat rails fit on them. this was the only way i could see that would allow the seats to still be comfortable, and fit safely in the car. I have heard that you can somehow get three bolts to line up, but i wasnt able to do this, and i have also heard about people swapping seat pans between the two seats, but this made the del sol seats extremely uncomfortable.

does the pan come off easily or do you have to drill/grind off rivets?

Wow, that would be sweet to have a set of those in my 88 Hatch. Too bad the mounts are bass-ackwards

I guess I am too lazy to change the mounts/pans AGAIN (done it twice with CRX/Hatch seats, that was no fun)

Good luck with that bro!

I've got del sol seats in my hatch. I just modified some old rails (86 crx) I had laying around to fit both sides so they could be as low as possible (del sol rails were thicker). Need all the clearance I can get to squeeze in with a helmet on.
