a buddy of mine has a JDM itr motor, which is supposed to be stock, but hes making around 200whp on "stock internals".... we have now taken the motor apart, but how can we determine whether the cams, and valvetrain are stock?

Use the HT bandwagoner method:

Rub your **** against the parts, if it gets hard its JDM. If it doesn't, it isn't.

 

tried it, it got hard, but now im unsure if its oem JDM or aftermarket JDM

did u dyno that or did u figure taht out on paper?

if it makes 200 whp and is reliable , i wouldnt have fucked with it
