Protects the front of the car from cone marks and scratches. Course if your good enough not to hit cones you dont need it

i did it because of rock chips and debris from the track. dont wanna crack a headlight or turn signal. and it acts as a bra. stops bugs

I heard it was so that if your headlight breaks, the glass won't fall on the track.
