Got the Honda Dealership Stumped Help!!
Any one have a clue?? I have been told that it is the Transmission Computer Control Unit and also the Torque Converter Control Unit. This is something totally new for me.. Does anyone know what the heck this is or the actual name of it. Even the Honda Dealer here has no clue.
There are 2 main computers that run the car.
1. Engine Management Computer (ECU)
2. Transmission Control Unit (TCU)
There is no Torque Converter Control Unit as the whole transmission is controlled by the TCU and ECU.
If you have a problem with your Torque Converter it could be as simple as a bad lockup switch or as bad as the Torque Converter has failed and that usually means death to the transmission.
