Actually, my understanding is that early CRXs benefitted from a bigger than stock bar for stock class autox. If you are running anything but stock class then you should be investigating a bigger rear bar and/or heavier springs with a more rearward rate bias. If you are in stock I would check with other stock class crx drivers (year and model are important) - try going to sccaforums.com Stock Class section.

autox and track racing are different. different speeds, different cornering loads and transitions. i owuld not take one advice and consider it acceptable to either. and besides, that thread is full of varying advice, just like everyone runs a different setup anyway.

the general guideline is to keep the front soft, rear stiff. through springs and swaybars. there a few, very vocal, ppl who will advocate the reverse.

just gotta try it on your own.

you also have other OEM options. the HF bar is smaller (17.3mm) and hollow than the DX/Si bar (18mm). you can also go a bit stiffer with a hollow 22mm DA integra bar that fits. i thought the suspension techniques solid 22mm bar was way too heavy anyway. i never even installed it in my car before i sold it.

panda, stop bench racing. go out there and try it yourself.
