Not to beat a dead horse here, but try searching.

What do you want to build (all motor, N20, turbo, etc..)? What's your HP range/goal?

There are a lot of choices so you need to give as much info as possible.

K20a or A2 are the best to go with. Or the k24 block with k20a/a2 head. Stay away from the a3

I want to run all motor, in my 93 hatch. I want as much HP as i can get for a good price. My goal is 300whp but i know that is prob going to cost me since it is a K motor. What is realistic for the K motor (all motor) street car.

300 is realistic with lots of money. anywho if u going to pick a engine if u can find a tsx longblock engine get that, it has the same if not better head then the k20a2, but if not u get a k24a(1,3,4) to build then for sure get the k20a2 head.
plus if u plan on runnign sum kind of custom rod/crank or sumthing the k24's are better since they have a taller deck.

Street car? Easy, K20A2.

Mods for a street car (only about 25whp):

ITR Manifold
IPS K2 Cams
Upgraded Valvetrain
Hondata K-Pro
Race Header
New Exhaust
etc...

i would for sure agree with the k20a2 for a D/D then weekend warrior. they can be pick up rather cheap. if ur looking for mounts u can check http://www.speedshoponline.com . they have awesome deals from what i have seen and good customer service also hybirdracing has good conversion harness u might want to look into.

What about the package deals you can get like at Hmotors, you know how it comes with the tranny and all the other stuff. What i would is mostly track so it can be modified. I thought i read somewhere a guy did some head work on his K motor and he was putting down like 300whp but i not sure if he had alot of bottom end work to

ya hmotorsonline is a pretty good place. but ur going to still need mounts and a conversion harness unless ur going to do all the rewiring of the harnesses. i think i seen ppl say they have swap k20a2's into there car for around low 5k

So what do you think after you got a package like that for HMotors it would take to run 11's. In a 1900lbs w/driver 93 cx hatch.

These dynos were done with our first set of cams. We have since switched over to our next step up, but do not have a dynojet chart to go with the dynapack. I like to present both whenever possible. However, if you'd like to see the improvement, I have the dynapack only, isolating the delta from the cam swap/tuning:

Of course, it's one of my development motors. Look for a full article in the coming months hitting the newsstands. Otherwise, there are many threads here on H-T that chronicle the buildup.
