Windshield replacement: Spend extra for OEM?
My car, a 97 Prelude base, has a cracked windshield which prevents the car from passing NYS inspection. I was quoted $425 to replace it with non-OEM glass; should I spend more money and purchase an OEM windshield?
Additionally, what is the typical cost of mounting and balancing tires on all four wheels? I am buying tires online for the first time (usually, I purchase tires from a brick and mortar establishment and have installation costs included in the price).

I am getting the winshield replaced in my Prelude for $310 including the new rubber trim. Safelite glass is doing it and they are a national chain with a warranty. Google search "windshield glass" and they are one of the first sponsored hits on there. They come to your house or even your workplace to do it if needed
