I need a JDM part or part number. I have a b16a (DOHC vtec) from japan. The block has a fully balanced rotating assembly, high compressions forged paistons, built head, and some other goodies. What is stoping me from completing the build is a set of thrust washers. I have ordered several sets of washers from every US DOHC vtec motor made. NONE fit. After talking to a tech in jacksonville honda I learned that it's a JDM part only.

I want to get this sweet motor in the car! Anyone have any suggestions?

I would go talk to some of the guys that build motors in the forced induction forum like earl, goldeneaglemfg, etc. I think they might be able to help you out since they probably have built more jdm b16a motors than the people in this forum combined.

Sorry I can't be of more help but I am really suprised that it would be a jdm only part but who knows. Have you tried sourcing some from europe?? They also had a 1st gen b16a as well as jdm land.
