Default EBAY SEATS, who has them/seen them in person

I got my hatch about a year and a half ago, and shortly afterwards started looking for seats. It was around this time last year I found a junkyard with 2 90-93 integra's, one had black seats, the other had brown seats. Of course I got the brown since I have brown interior. Here is where it gets non-honda related. I recently bought a suzuki samurai that I plan on making into a rock crawler and I'm gonna have to change the seats as the drivers seat is "tatered". Since I love the integra seats in the hatch, I'd like to have a set in the samurai. I went back to the same junkyard to get the set of black integra seats, and of course the car was gone. I'm gonna go back around to all the yards I went to last year and maybe one of them will have gotten in a integra with black seats. If I'm not able to find a set , I may end up getting a set of the cheep "racing" seats off ebay.Anyone here have a set, or personally sat in a set? If so, how was the material covering the seat? I'd hate to get a set and it feel like its make out of a t-shirt. I did find a set of black honda element seats at a yard, they were awsome, but they valued them too much, they wanted $200 EACH for used seats, I gave $90 for the pair of integra seats. If I don't find a junkyard set, it'll be the tward the end of the year before I get the ebay ones.My wife suggested that since I'm gonna redo the inteerior of the samurai, put the integra seats out of the hatch into the samurai (and make the interior brown instead of black) and put what ever new seats I get into the hatch, seem like a lot of work though, but a good idea? Thanks for any info given on the ebay versions. Here is the kind I'm talking about:

P.S. ...I'm open to suggestions, only requirment, they have to be black or black w/ red trim.

Post when you accidently get cut off by a car, you hit him hard on the side of the car, and tell me if the seats held on nicely tight to the seat rail. Or did the seat came apart during impact and you just happen to go through the front windshield and got all **** up.

Seen this already with Ebay brand seats.

Good luck

Poor quality and workmanship...

Altho Tenzo seats suck aswell, atleast they are allowed to be sold here in Holland, wich means they passed basic (real basic) safety standards.

Hey i got some MOMO start racing seats for 250 each, Their black one piece fiberglass 14LBS each. You could get a much lighter seat but at that price it was a real good deal. They are also fully FIA homogulataed(SP?). get some thing made buy a name brand company that is certafied for actual racing.

I would never skimp when buying something as essential to keeping you ALIVE as your seat it. Be it in a rock crawler or your car. Honestly, those seats go anywhere from $50 a piece to $100. At that price, quality and SAFTEY has to be sacraficed. Or else, how would the seller and or maker create any profit? Did you notice that even Takata harnesses and other higher quality harnesses need to be replaced after ANY accident/hard deceleration, this ensures theres no question about the saftey of the product and the saftey of the passengers. Imagine your mom or gf/wife needs a quick ride somewhere for some reason. Your driving along doing the speed limit, but some *** is driving wrecklessly and runs a stop sign or rear ends you. Do you wanna risk your life and hers/theirs because you wanted to save a few bucks? The risks outweigh the saving IMO.

Those seats just look really cheap. Have you considered just getting your current seats recovered or just buying seat covers?

I'm glad people are posting about the safety issue when it comes to quality over price.

Again, these are suggestion, as you had ask us.

Had a friend with a 92-95 hatch, dx, got hit in the back by a truck going 35 or so. Broke the backs of both seats. These are stock seats. So i doubt they are any worse than stock. People posting stupid flying out the window **** need to realize the seat belt is supposed to bolt through the floor and to the pillar so i don't see how a shitty seat is gonna through you out the window if you have your belt on, and if not....well the seat not gonna matter than way either. As you can see in the picts they are made to run with harnesses, which bolt to the floor and your roll cage which should be as safe as you can get. As long as they do not break the backs of the seat when you get hit in the back, oh wait stock ones do that exact thing.
