Default Question for those who Parted out

Alright well I got into an accident and the car isn't in good shape, the passenger airbag went off and the radiator support is bent, and there is some rear 1/4 panel damage. I've had consent problems with the car and have grown tired of trying to deal with all of the problems.

Now the question is for those of you who have parted out your car already, was it worth it? I can either try and part out some of the (interior and misc exterior parts) and sell the car with the engine in it, or I can just try and sell the car as it sits.

Opinions? And no this is not a for sale post- so please don't PM me asking for parts or whatever.

PS this is directed more towards those who parted a 4th gen, but others feel free to comment.

Its alot of time and effort to part out a car, most inquiries you get will fall through. eBay is an option, but that also takes time to take pictures of everything, post the auction, and answer peoples questions. There is certainly money to be made by parting out a 4th gen prelude, but you just have to ask yourself "how much is my time and effort worth?"

I say get it fixed. Mine has a tad bit more damage than t hat.......both airbags blew....the front is pretty banged up - but the motor/and AC works perfectly(GO HONDA)....but anyway, I found a nice body guy in my area - he fixed two of my last 5 cars and did an excellent job. He quoted me only $1500 for the job(of course I already have a CF hood and bumper that I purchased off ebay a long time ago).....I say its worth it as long as the engine's good.

If you part the car out, i really doubt you're going to get what you want out of it. It'll take forever to even sell some of those parts......But if you chose to part it out....i have dibs on the wheels
