Is the stock head gasket on the 98 LS B18B motor a one, two or three layer gasket? I was wondering because it affects the CR I am trying to attain with my LS to VTEC in progress. Also, which ECU is reccomended if I am running B18C1 head, B18B block, CTR cams, USDM ITR pistons, and ITR valve springs and retainers? I would like to go with an OBDII setup. Thank you, Jason.

 

Well, I know that the b18c1 headgasket is 3 piece because I have heard of people taking them apart to lower their CR. This might be the same gasket

I know about that calculator, thats what im using to get my CR. I just need to know if the stock LS head gasket is considered a 1, 2, or 3 layer on that calculator.
