Default Help on Dual exhaust!!!!

I just decided on buying a Dual exhaust for my S. Im going dual because I dont like to leave an empty space on the rear bumper (which would happen if I go Single exhaust). Anyway Which one should I consider like the best bang for the bucks. Taking in consideration Hp gains, wheigh loss, and sound.

Thanks!!

If you have an AP1, they make a cover for that other hole.

try the T1-R sparrow at http://www.aj-racing dot com. or the j's racing dual exhaust at http://www.hondawerx dot net. both are awesome from what i'm told. great gains, and lightweight as well! good luck.

what's wrong w/ my cheap invidia??? u wouldn't know how it feels, when ur going up a parking structure(burbank media ctr). all the alarms goes off & every1 start closing their ears hehehe.

power wise, it does gain much, but it looks good. i'll say it's bang for ur buck. can't complain when u spend $550.00 for it.

To each his own. Ive owned both Borla and Invidia, and I liked my Borla much better - it was beautiful...it was much more expensive though.

Nothing's wrong with it, except perhaps for a lack of resonators and a muffler that muffles sound.

For me, the louder it is the less I want it.

As for me not knowing what it's like to have a loud exhaust, how many race cars and cars with no resonator or muffler have you driven? I have driven EXTREMELY loud cars, and I don't want to do so on the street.

I switched from duals to the Spoon N1 stainless. Though I despise the weak way the thing looks, it sounds awesome - at mid rpm, instead of a drone, it's a good tuned growl that almost harmonizes with the growl of the V2 under the hood. It's like hearing the engine running in stereo - really a new experience after 8 years of honda tuning / ownership.

My powergains were very noticeable switching from duals. Not like hitting the nitrous or anything, but it's much easier to chirp gears in low revs, it gets through the revs noticeably quicker, and it drops 45 lbs or so off the backend. Still, I just hate the way it looks - it's very timid looking in comparison to the massive duals I had on there. Oh well - sleeper time....

I also just ordered a Megan racing resonated test pipe - seems reliously to be good for 5-6 WHP...we'll see.

My father is running an HKS Hi-Power dual on his AP2.

Sounds great.
