Default Am i getting a good deal?

Hey i've gotten some deals on an Ls Longblock and B16 Tranny and i was wondering if im getting a good deal.

Well i can get this 92 Ls Longblock with about 130k for $325 w/o ECU. Or i can get a 94 Ls Longblock with about 90k but i really don't know what is missing for $425.

About the tranny i found a Y1 Tranny(B16) Local for $380 I haven't seen it but the guy said it's been sitting around for a year or so but it has no grind and is in good condition.

This would all going into my 91 Dx it's already MPFI so i don't have to worry about that.

Also were is the best place to pick up Hasport mounts for a good price? And what should i look for when going to checj out the motor and Tranny... Thanks in Advance!

It's not a bad deal but remember you will either have to convert to OBD1(including ecu) or source OBDO electronics. Also remember there are other costs invloved in the swap.

Mounts (for the mounts check out the sponsors section)
Shift linkage

Replacement items:

Clutch
Timing belt
Water pump
Thermostat
Cap and rotor
Plugs and plug wires
Front and rear main seals
Misc gaskets and hoses
etc.

As for what to look for it is going to be tough to tell if the motor/trans is ok internally so you are taking a risk. Make sure all sensors are intact and not broken. Also make sure you can turn over the motor by hand. Like I said though it is going to be tough to tell if the motor is ok.
