the acids in that egg kill paint. they might be stains already.

don't let the egg dry on the paint... even then, the eggshells probably cut the hell out of the paint, leaving little cracks. There's nothing you can do except for repainting

well she went ot the carwash and cleaned the surface and i did think abouthe insurance thing but she doesn't want to have to pay or have her rate go up and now what kills me even more was that she was at work, and it was a slow night there so doesn't that just end all i wanna find out who did it too, they have cameras u think they erase their tapes every night or what? F-ing ****** who does that i mean really espcially to my girl damn it!! Im going to be calling my body shop tomorrow!!

I heard to try and clay bar and then use a scratch remover or some kind of polishing compound with and orbital or DA damn it what am i to do shes isn't super pissed but if there is a weak spot in the paint then it will just continue to get worse!!! M Fer who does this kind of ****!! they need to

Any other ideas fill me in
Thanks

David

post pics of the damage and it would be easier to tell you how to fix. most likely you'll have to have a bodyshop repair it.

Something like this should be covered under comprehensive, in which case her rate wouldn't go up.

i was thinking that myself that this isn't her fault and there was no other damage and this wouldn't be considered some kind of violation in their eyes!! Im going to see if i can get some pics or atleast the finished product after i talk to my body shop today and bad part is her car is not garaged and uncovered so here we go, i know we all love when things get baked on in the nice hot sun so it should be fun
!!!

Thanks for the tips and hopefully someone caught this on tape, and hopefully the car was hit more than what she saw!!! oh lord

wet a towel and place it over the affected area. the moisture should re-hydrate the proteins in the egg and allow it to wipe off easier.

from personal experience, you will be looking for a new paint job from the shells cracking into shrapnell
