Lexan windows?
You guys should be the right group of people to ask about lexan windows. Does anyone here have pics of their ITR's with Lexan windows, and of course, which shop and which company are your windows from?
If there are acually some Toronto ITR's that have these windows, it would be even better because I would like buy the windows and get is installed locally. Any suggestions would be great

I don't have them but i think FAL makes lexan windows? C-speed racing did a little writeup for their project EF when they installed the lexan windows..

Yeah, I checked the MMRUSA website and they have FAL Lexan windows available. They are said to be more scratch resistant as well, and there is some paste/treatment to help remove the scratches the keep the surface like new. However, I am still wondering, who should I look for when installing these windows? Anyone have close pictures of the rivets, or even better -- install info?

.....I've considered this too.
Let me suggest cf hood, cf hatch, etc...
Real lexan, not the street legal stuff - since it's lighter.
And how about cf front end for the car?
A reputable body shop should be able to do it... or even better a local race car prep shop that does stuff like scca road race prep, etc.

Folks.
Lexan windows are for track use only. They will not last two weeks on the street, and the first few times you wipe that rear window, its time to replace it!
basically its plexiglass...

I have the FAL kit on my 5th gen. civic hatch. At least the 2 quarter windows, so far. Haven't had the time to work out how i'm going to mount the hatch window. The 2 side windows aren't that much lighter than the stock glass, but the rear one is A LOT lighter. I drive the car on the street, but not in bad weather. They don't scratch that easily, but swirlmarks have appeared from the car washing exercises-unavoidable I suppose.
They look exactly like the stock windows! Nobody I run into can tell that they're plastic! I have to point it out to everyone I talk to. Factory blackout and curvature. Very cool. Just be sure to remove that stupid, white FAL logo from the back BEFORE you put them on...
Worth the money for their weight and stealthiness in my eyes.
Jeff
p.s. i've heard the rear hatch piece for the 'teg saves many pounds...that's a big piece of heavy glass.
