2 questions: what car should i buy of 2 i found, and what engine code is the 91 SI motor?

2 questions: what car should i buy of 2 i found, and what engine code is the 91 SI motor?
89 civic SI hatch, 155k 
had timing belt blow but now it doesnt start. 600$ needs a rear bumper too. (probalby has bent valves, would be a swap car probably)
or :
91 civic DX with D16A (i think thats a 91 si motor, pls gime some info on that if you know)
177k on car, he guesses the motor has like 130 but doesnt really know, he bought it like that. he says this car doesnt burn a bit of oil which would make me guess the car has less than 100k cuz any honda over 100k usualy smokes lol.........
he wants 2k or best offer, this car has nice blue paint with a tiny bit of rust on the rear quarters (teh usual) but comes with rims, intake, muffler, new battery, a black dragon hood, etc goodies
this car looks better, and i'd probably pay 1500 for it without the rims and put my own on it hehe. anyways, i know that the DX usually has a D15B2 in it so i know it's swapped, as long as it passes ok on the compression test i might make an offer but someone pls gime some info on what they think i should do. overall it would be worth it to pay 900$ more for a car that runs sweet and has some goodies on it already............
mostly i'm here to make sure that a D16A is a SI sohc motor.............thanks for checkin this out!
