90-93 integra axle's for dx you do not need to change spindles but remove the dust ring off back of spindle where axle goes in

Do you have the Integra Intermediate shaft, or the SiR shaft? The SiR shaft is slightly longer and requires a bit more work to get an axle to work in there.

if you use the j1 intermediate shaft with 90-93 axles you will cause premature failure in the passanger side axle...personal experience.........

if its a dx u can use same hubs

Interesting that you say this because my CRX has a bad passenger side axle and I have a J1 tranny and probably a J1 intermediate shaft. I've never heard of this problem though and everyone says use 90-93 integra axles. So what axles do I need? I need to do both of them soon.

I'm confused though, the J1 only came from the Integra XSi according to what I've read on the net. So why would using 90-93 integra axles be a problem?

So how does the half shaft which is on the driver's side affect the passenger's side? If you've looked at the axles, the passenger's side axle is inserted directly into the transmission. On the driver's side you insert the axle into the half shaft and then the half shaft is inserted into the transmission.

BTW, I have an LS intermediate shaft and am using 90-93 integra axles on both sides and I'm still having problems with the passenger's side axle. It works with the dust boot removed, but still seems like it's too long. Gives a slight vibration while driving and fails prematurely.
