We at V2 Motorsports just wanted to thank everyone that came and helped out at Battle of the Imports this past weekend 7/30/05. The car is a 1996 Integra GSR motor (street car) 12.6 all motor. We expected the Street Stock class to have more cars in that class. (come on people join this class) , I think this class is pretty cool, Cars have to be street cars with the motor that the car came with no swaps. ITR would be great in this class! Well SHOOT-OUTS to H-T members for all the help, Indo Jeff, James@RAGE, all the guys at AA, my cousin@ Pit crew for hooking up the free tickets from Battle,Duy@Injen for the air compressor, Lil Mike for the transporting the car to the track, everyone else that helped out and all the members at V2 Motorsports. Hope to bring out our new EG K20 street car for the next event! see you guys there.

did you guys break? I was building a motor for that class but they wouldnt allow a d16a6 build in a 90 civic dx hb so I scratched that plan

I don't know if it would be anything nice to see in my honest opinion. It's just gonna implant into the "I'm a racecar driver's" head that the "more expensive sports car" is faster than a cheaper one. Just because something is more expensive, does that mean it has more value?

12:5 comp. we made 228 hp 156 tq. @ RAGE James hooked it up!

 

Does LS vtec count in that class?

 

We wanted to do ls/vtec for this class also, but it is not permitted

 

so if i have a 92-93 DA, the only vtec motor i could run would be a b17a?? does it even have to be a gs-r? can i run a b17a in an LS?

the motor that came in the car so if you have an ls teg its gonna be a full b18a if a 92-93 gsr a full b17a. They are very picky about the class hence no swaps

 

That sounds like a pretty interesting class to run in. Nice work on the 12 sec pass!

 

what was your mph?

I heard the tarck prep was poor.....

 

the track was not as well as we wanted it to be, maybe due to the oil on the track, but mph 106 not to great!

remember its 106mph in an integra chassis not a light civic or crx. give yourself some credit, Ben.
