For some of you that know, I still have the F2, although it's been giving me so many problems I just don't want to deal with it, I will let it go for $1500OBO! email at Abstrackstyle@yahoo.com for pics and info

back to the show

So I just got off the phone with the seller, sounded like a nice fellow just trying to pay off debts. here's the deal

2003 Liquid Silver R6
previous owner: 27k miles put on (track and commute, tour) well kept, maintenced regularly
current owner: 3k barely ridden, dropped once at 10-15mph coming out of turn, replaced fairings although slight scractches still on the midd fairing and exhaust. bunch of extras with the bike (forgot already, didnt write it down, doh!)

was asking for $5500 but will sell for 5k for a silver R6 with 30k miles

I'm gonna check it out next weekend, no pics available right now, but is that a good deal?

Why would you buy a bike with 30k miles if you cant deal with all the "problems" your having now. 30k on a new bike like that=maintenance to be done im sure. And yea, no way id pay 5k for it.

It won't crank over, I just replaced the starter relay, plus I had the whole electrical system rewired @ mach1 shop in Newport. I figure it might be the spark plugs?

i agree that 30k is a little high mileage for the asking price but maybe in CA that's the going rate.

look it up on kbb.com for your area and see what's up. g/l

and NICE f2...cranking or not i wish i lived near you.

My buddy just bought an 2000 R6 and it has about that high of mileage and it has ALLLL kinds of problems....just don't buy it, the mileage is way to high, even with maintaince there is going to be just as many issues as your F2 or close to it....

My buddy is very un-happy with his purchase and is trying to sell the bike now after only having it for a week...

I'm interested in your bike; if I go thru with it, I may have a 929 going up for sale soon...

2000 miles isnt even run in! Its generally the owners lack of maintenance, revving the **** off it from cold and/or using bike shops that dont care. I have seen CBR's with 80K on them.
