I bought the car on julyof 05 and i got it smog and ready to to transfer under my name, i went to DMV to get the new registration paper what i didint know that on the paper it said that the exp date is 12/16/05 and i went back to see what was the problem, I ask how come my registration is due in 4 months when i just bought the car, the DMV clerk said its b-coz thats the birth date of the vehicle, and im wondering do i have to go through smog and registration agen? please help

 

You have to go to smog and registration again in December. It doesn't matter when you buy the car, the car's birthday is always the same. You have to do everything over again.
