is it worth buying 86 crx?
I found a running 86 crx for 300 bucks , clean title
but i honestly dont like the front end of the 86. Can i swap for the 88-91 front end? and is it worth the price?

running honda for 300 go for it does it have alot of rust?
no you cant swap front without lot of work and it wouldn't match anyway, that look will grow on you.

In my best Ben Stiller voice, "DO IT!"
Seriously though, my fiance has a 87 CRX Si, and I can't stop driving that damn thing. I have my own 89 Sedan LX that I'm fixing up, but I really am taking extra long b/c I love the 87 CRX.
HOT DAMN it's sweet.
The front end is freaking sweet. I'm pretty sure the 86 is the one with the flush headlights (like the 87) which looks MUCH better IMHO than teh 84-85 recessed headlights.
The only thing you have to worry about is the rear bumper sag which every CRX has unless you get a new bracket.
I say do it. You can't go wrong with a $300 running honda. Use it as a winter beater if you need to...
