Spring rates
i know this has been covered but i didnt get any really clear answers, what are the benifits of having higher spring rates in front than the back and viceversa (besided understeer and over steer) and what are good rates for a civic hatch (95 cx) dd and rr

You answered your own question. It's all about suspension tuning.

It's all personal preference. Go with OTS rates for now, and then buy new springs when you learn your car and can get a feel for how you want it to handle.
