Default Megan Header - Ebay

I just bought a Megan header for a 4th Gen Vtec off of ebay and I'm wondering if you guys know if they are any good. I mean...i saw some pretty cheap ***** like the "Chrome Headers" they sell for like $70 or so. That didnt even sound right so i didnt buy. I've heard some stuff saying that Megan was OK. Can someone back this up for me. I REALLY didnt fell like spending $300 for the Ceramic Headers.

yea same problem with me... I got a ebay header to hold me over after the swap till I am up for my RMF header... well I have had it for 2 months now and its really annoying. The thing didnt bolt on properly (the tab that bolts on to the block) and it rattles like hell. Its so annoying because whenever I accelerate the slightest bit I hear this buzzing sound. Makes me sound like some big bug flying around, its quite embarressing.

i drove over a cement block in a construction zone at night and ripped up my stock header. i didn't feel like paying too much for a header at the time, so i just bought a megan off ebay. the header bolted up fine except for the bracket that bolts to the back of the block, but nothing a little dremel can't fix. and i noticed a lot better gas milage in the city, i think i'm getting like 33mpg in the city now.

Dont know about the h22vtec but on the 4th gen h23.. there was a post and dyno of it making about 11hp, it's very high quality from all the welding I can see in the pics.. do a search, it's an old thread.
