Default Jim Fab rear mount = gone

I didn't see it on his site... so I emailed him asking him about it and he said they have discontinued it. Total suck.

I have read a few posts with people having that mount in particular. Anyone having problems with the back mount?

Hrmm... I'm thinking it was either defective in some way OR it's not cost effective for them to make it anymore.

If cost is an issue, that would be royally screwed to stop production. Car buffs will pay top dollar for high-quality items.

Well, here is the un-edited reply from the man himself.

"hello again

I have recentley started a new career job. unfortunatley i am unable to run jimfab full time anymore. the rear mount was very dificult and time consuming to manufacture, we are now looking for a place to manufacture them for us, so they may come back to the lineup. we are still going to continue with the front lower mounts, and the 88-91 crossmembers, as well as our factory accounts.

please let me know if i can help with anything.

thanks again-jim"

I'm glad I did not have to bust out the jack and start looking for a failing mount, I'm just toooooo dammm lazy to bother

Sad to see he is not doing well enough with his products to support solely on that. JimFab is a nice guy with great stuff. If people would have listened to me about getting the mounts then he would have been booming by now

I was thinking of getting one of those, looks like I'll just have to settle with the rear mount inserts I got from Black R some time back.

If you decide you don't want it or too lazy to ever install it, hit me up. I'll take it off your hands!

Nope, Put it in from under the car and tighten from the top.
