What about night time pics? Where did you mount the ballasts? What bulbs does the F4i use? H7? Wow, that's a lot of questions.

Do you have any issues with the HIDS drawing to much power at start up or anything? I have a car kit that I was thinking about putting on my bike, not sure if it's worth the hassle though. Especially since I never ride at night

Umm it starts up just fine. But my highbeam tends to blink at initial startup. After that its fine though. Ill also let you guys know how they work 6 months from now.

HID's draw 35w where the stock halogens pull 55w. Mine were always fine on startup.

The startup is what I was concerned about mainly.

warm up is only for a few seconds, so it should be fine. i have seen people use ballasts on bikes and they are fine during start/warm up time!

whats happening, from what i have learned, during start/warm up time, the bulb is mainly trying to reach the right temp and to maintain an arc. then it draws less current aftr this process.

sweet looking bike man... I really like that color combination too!

Umm, so where did you get everything for the HID install? Was this a kit you bought somewhere or was it peiced together? Thanks for any info!

Its your basic EBAY hid kit. Install is very easy. Plugs into your regular lights. I had to trip a piece of the bulb for it to fit properly in my bike housing. Took like 1 cut with a pair of dykes on each bulb and valaa...

That's nice. I wonder if they have a kit for my Gix....Gonna check Egay right now.

Edit: Just checked. They go for about 299.00. One question though, do they get so hot that they burn a hole in the housing?
