***Update*** We have found out what happened to my car. The tranny case split between the rods causing the tranny case to crack and come apart damaging the trans gears and the Clutch Masters clutch. I was so sad to see that clutch get hurt. Clutch Masters is a great company and they are going to fix our damaged clutch caused by the trans case coming apart!!! Clutch Masters #1!!!!!!!! Thanks guys!

Well, we had a decent first outing with the car this weekend in Fontana, CA at the BOTI event. Very first run down the track yielded an 11.8 @ 122 mph with a bogging 1.9 60'. She went through all the gears perfectly and has a lot of potential. Second run bogged even harder but still came up with 120 mph. We had MAJOR tranny issues on that pass, but I think we know what caused it and we are working to fix the problem before FL! Remember, this was short shifting at 7000 RPM!!!

We made about 300 on the dyno and I want to thank Skunk 2 for letting me use their dyno on Thursday before the race. Aldo, thanks for sticking around so late to let us get a base map in her. Dave, your facility is great and I appreciate your input on everything.

Beautiful car, Vince. We experienced challanges as well with our first full 1/4-mile pass. Do not fret, we will both get our track time, and bugs worked out. I wish you the best, and look forward to running you in the finals at future events!

Vince, Ron - Great looking car, I was able to talk to Ron for a second I had some questions about the engine setup and how it differers from the Duratech engine in the Focus.

There already one or two over 220hp N/A on 91 octane fuel.

I had a good time, got there late, stayed for the show winners later and got home around 1:30am.
