a couple questions for my cam install this weekend.
1) i know there's no REAL answer to this, but something in the neighborhood would be great so my car isn't shitty on the track saturday and sunday. What are some good baseline cam gear and fuel settings? i know i lean the cams out down low, richen it up high, raise vtec to 6500 or so....i'm pretty sure i'llj ust advance the intake cam 3 degrees or so, and leave the exhaust gear stock, sound good?
2) what's the easiest way to cut the valve cover? I seem to remember someone saying something about a 4" hole saw? is that hte right size?

As we discussed via IM, zero out the cam gears. Best not to risk ****, especially since you'll be tracking the car a day after the cam install. We'll have to talk more about the Fields vs. V-AFC bit to figure out a baseline. Good thing you'll have some smart kids up there at the hotel on Friday
Valve cover - Willard cut mine with a Dremel. Did an excellent job! RStoR did a very nice job on his with a drill press. Of course, I doubt you'll find a drill press at the hotel in Danville
