Anybody have one? ive been wanting to put a security system on my bike and this one seems to have all that I am looking for. It would be going on an 03 Gsxr 600, i plan on going to there shop later today, but i was curious what your guys opinions are on this product. TIA!

Wow this post is old. What shop are you getting it from and how much, best price I can find is $269 with none of the options.

np, they are good people so i like to plug them when i can

 

installed one on my boys 05 r6. nice unit. pages you .. has shock sensor. starter kill. etc. make sure you buy the wiring harness for your bike to make install easier

I actually had a question about the wiring harness. I have an aftermarket undertail which also replaced the lights and blinkers with LED ones. Will I still be able to utilize the wiring harness, the connectors changed. I email Aritronix about that also.

i would check with them, typically the unit plugs directly into the brake lights, and then two other wires connect into the signals by using a T connector

 

Got an email from Anthony at Aritronix, he said:
"All you would need to do is install the connector before the tail light conversion box." I guess that means their factory harness will still work with my undertail.

true, but the good thing about this alarm is the 2way FM transmitter. as soon as the bike alarm is activated your key fob goes off, telling you what sensor tripped the alarm. most theives are not expecting an alarm, its pretty rare on bikes.

 

The question is how long does it take two men to lift your bike in the back of a truck or van? My guess less then 20 seconds. So while your alarm is going off, you can run out side and see you bike making a lot of noise going down the street in the back of the truck. My advice would go with some sort of tracking unit so you can track your bike and get it back. But hey if you like having cool looking pager units then go for it. IMO it is not worth the money unless you are going to be less then 20 seconds from your bike.

I would, I really only take it to 3 places:
The track, who would be dumb enough to steal a bike at a trackday?
My work, I park by a window right by my desk and I can be out the door in 10 seconds.
Home, bike is garaged, and my dog (Akita/Pit) sleeps in the garage at night.

If I need to go anyplace else for an extended period of time, I take my truck.
