So im taking out my dipstick to change my oil....
and i get a cloth to clean it, and there is nothing on the cloth. I put the dipstick back in and take it out, still no oil. Im wondering what is going on, because I have no leaks whatsoever. So I quickly just put in 2 quarts of Castrol, because thats all that i had in my garage. Im thinking that the car is burning oil, and its letting it out from the exhaust. If i leave my car in the driveway to idle, It develops a black vapor like leak under the exhaust. What can this all be from?
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=697498 maybe that will help you.. on my friends civic, he had this problem... it was blowing a mist of oil out of the pvc system.. line was just loose, but it made everything nice and oily... i don't know if this might be your case, but you should definetely check it out.. maybe it'll help..
nevermind.. i just realized you said it was coming out of the exhaust! rings or severely destroyed valve guide seals... have a leak down test done immediately.. probably going to need a rebuild..
