B*A*M shoot: Ricky's DC2 v2.0 to v3.0 Conversion (WARNING: LOTS of pics)
This DC2 belongs to my friend and co-worker Ricky. Since last year it has undergone many changes. The biggest change you will see below is the color change and front end conversion. I was lucky enough to lend a hand in the paint process, so I snapped a bunch of pictures to document it. Enjoy and be patient. There are many pics so it will probably take a while to load.
v1.0 Nighthawk Black Pearl? (oem)
v2.0 Spa Yellow (s2000)
v3.0 Sterling Gray (bmw)
edit1: just wanted to make it clear that Ricky was the one who most of the work himself including paint. I only helped speed things along. Ricky is the one who taught me to paint originally and he does excellent work!
edit2:: added some pics Ricky (472-DC2) took during the process...

i believe the hood propped up in the back is an old street rod/muscle car thing...someone correct me if i'm wrong. it's supposed to let more air escape the engine bay and run cooler. ...and yes that's an apexi n1.

I have been wondering for awhile now how do you get that effect, is it a special lens or something that you can do in photo shop?
Loving the new color too. Good job
