Hey does anyone know how i can just hook up just a tach light not the huge tach?

Hey does anyone know how i can just hook up just a tach light not the huge tach?
I have an auto meter quick-lite and its just only the light with a black connector at the end and i was wondering if i could split the wires and do something please help?

Now, this might sound out of the ordinary but ...
Ever considering selling the huge tack and using that money instead on a nice, simple shift light instead?
