Ground Control's are a great coilover, I definately recommend them to anyone, I drove them without changing out struts on my 2000 Eclipse for about a year and ride was smooth, had no problems (but my camber) at about a 2.75" drop.

As long as you don't slam it you should be ok.

I ran my ground controls on my stock 94CX shocks (lowered almost 3") for five years without blowing a single one. The car was never bouncy either. Just a few months ago I switched to Koni Sports. When I removed the stockers, they all looked good, and were still very stiff to move.

My advice would be to plug them in, and drive carefully over bumps and pot holes. Streets in Vegas are pretty good, but I've had my share of nasty hits too...

That's right. The ones made specifically for Koni will not work on stock shocks. The ones made for stock shocks will only work on Koni's if you get adapters.

i just installed my Ground Controls with some KYB AGX's a couple weeks ago. So far I'm loving the ride! Just another set of shocks you may want to consider since there's no special adapter necessary. Best of luck!

Only do a higher rear rate if your going to be doing competition driving. If this is for a street car, most people will hate going for rides in it (except your knuckle head friends).

I'm running 400f/250r and the car still handles like a go-kart...

My car has a nice and easy "snap" over-steer when maintaining a speed. I also get the scary "lift-throttle" oversteer, but we all do. I cant tell you about exit "on-throttle" over/understeer because I only have 70hp, and their is no way I could push the car that hard on the street.

One thing to remember though, over/understeer doesn't matter on a street car since you shouldn't drive like that anyways (nevermind if you track/auto-X your car)...

My suspension setup includes many mods though...

24mm front Teg Sway
14mm rear Teg Sway
No strut braces
Koni Sports
GC top hats (front only)
GC coilovers 400f/250r lowered 3"
Korbach frame locks
205/40/16 Dunlop FM-901's set to 32 psi all around

sounds like your not going that low and maybe not low at all but yeah you dont need a camber kit if your only going that low...just get an alignment and you'll be fine...

here is my setup: (btw i drive an integra fyi)

stock 22mm front sway bar
stock 22mm Type R sway bar
Custom top hats front and back
koni Yellows
GC 450f/400r

I have no camber kits, and I'm lowered 3" for 5 years (50k miles). I've only changed tires once, so tire wear is not an issue...

I suggest you get an alignment though. Toe settings are crucial. That makes me a bit of a hypocryte though since I never tought alignment settings. More recently (within the last 6 minths) I replaced my suspension w/ integra susupension, and the car drifts now. I haven't put hardly any miles on it since because I've got to take it in to fix the toe...

W3rd!!!

I just can't seem to talk my wife into buying a swap. That leaves me with 70hp to terroize the streets with . I figured I would just make it look cool, and say "**** it" until that glorious day comes...

I don't really know if it's lowered a full 3" or not since I never measured the before and after. I mearly compared measurments of my car (from fender to center of wheel) to a stock 95 EX coupe. The crazy thing is that my stock 89 CRX Si still has a lower roof line than the 94cx... WTF?
