I dragged my pegs today! In my MSF class! lol
Yup, just started riding a few weeks ago, only have about 75-80 miles under my belt, but wasnt doing much because I wanted to wait for the MSF course I had signed up for.
Did it on that set where you go straight, take a 90* turn, pull down a little straightaway, brake f/r to adjust entrance speed, then roll on the throttle through the turn. I hit the "apex" and just heard pssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh of the peg feeler sliding along the ground. LOL After I did that, I managed to drag it 3 more times in the offset slalom.
One of the instructors actually posts on a local forum I'm on, he heard and saw it, started laughing and gave me a big thumbs up.
I did it on a Honda Nighthawk 250! Damn, fun little thing, if I found one for a few hundred bucks, I might consider buying it. A far cry from a 600cc sportbike, but fun as hell.
Passed the course and had an absolutely awesome time. Would highly recommend to anyone considering it, its amazing what you learn in that period of time. Nearly my entire class were riders with 0 experience, and everyone in my group passed, great group of people too, such an awesome experience.
$255 for MSF
$350 for Shoei TZ-R
17 hours learning to ride
Dragging your pegs on a Nighthawk 250 in the MSF BRC..................priceless.

haha i laughed out loud when i saw this title, i did the exact same thing!! we had two guys teaching the class who thought it was pretty cool that i could scrape the pegs and we laughed the whole time.
thennnnn this other guy came in to give us our riding tests, and told me at the end that i was supposed to fail because i scraped a peg but he wasnt gonna be a jackass about it. No one told me i wasnt supposed to scrape, i thought i would have got points ADDED for skill, no deducted.
oh yeah, free in PA rocks
