So to all of those with h22s or turbos whats your insurance like. did you guys register these mods with your company or simply decide to just carry liability on the accord. is a h22 accord insurable and if so how much? Thanks
what if you killed your f22 then bought the h22 as a replacement. since that motor came standard in the cd series, i dont think they could do anything about it
All the insurance companys look at is the model (Civics are rated higher than Accords)(Youth/Adult preferences)), how many doors (coupes are rated higher than sedans), Color (red is more likely to speed) and vin number, if the vin designates 4cyl, thats what you're charged for.
If you don't tell them about the swap, how can they possibly know.

yup all they wanna know is how many liters your engine is.. but why bother telling them.. even if they looked under the hood they wouldnt know what your engine is... i dont think insurance companys even check
you need to get supplemental insurance...It could be calculated for any added value on your car. Plus in case something does happen, your regular car insurance wont go up, since you would be filing claim with your supplemental insurance. Of course if your engine breaks, the insurance wont cover you, only if its stolen....so if it does brake, make sure IT IS stolen
