No Spark, OBD-1 Conversion
Today I recieved my ECU from Turbogixxer and I assembled the car for the final test. I turn the key, and just cranking. I have fuel, air, but no spark. I have three of the plug wires out with plugs in them and they are not firing at all. So my question is, what can I do to test the wiring?
I.E. I have my wires at the distributor hooked up as following
OBD-0 --> OBD-1
Fat White --> Fat White
White --> White/Blue (Shielded)
Orange --> Orange (shielded)
Orange/Blue --> Orange/Blue
White/Blue --> Yellow Green (Shielded)
* blue/green shielded
* blue/yellow shielded
At the OBD-1 Distributor, plug (harness side, we have the following
Orange -- Orange/Blue -- Blue/Green -- Yellow Green
White -- White/Blue -- Blue/Yellow

Are these wires in the correct location, as well, how would I test for the proper signals?

Now if I understand you… You cut out (totally removed) the OBD0 dis plug and are going to be using OBD1 on both ends like I did on my EF.
If this is the case my colors are hooked up on the plug to harness side as follows:
Yellow w/green - to - White
Blue w/Yellow - to - Green w/Yellow
Blue w/Green - to - Blue w/Green
White w/Blue - to - White w/Green
Orange w/Blue - to - Orange w/Green
Orange - to - Orange
White - to - White
My dis side of the plug I have never messed with it is all OEM OBD1… I hope this helps. I know I hate tuning and running into little road blocks.

Your "Green w/Yellow" is actually a Blue with a yellow stripe. It is just faded. Same goes for your "Orange w/Green" and White w/Green. That is an Orange with a Blue Stripe and White with a Blue stripe.....they are just faded.
