Default Type R Intake Manifold on GSR Will it help?

I was wondering I have a 95 gsr but planning on getting a intake manifold? Is the Type R intake Manifold an upgrade from the GSR and will it be any improvements or should I get something like a skunk 2 intake manifold? If I can get either one for the same prive which one should I get? I am planning to run all motor here is my setup right now let me know which one will help my all motor plan:

GSr motor, b16 tranny, cold air Intake, dc header, FPR, ACT clutch, custom 2 /12 inch exhuast piping no cat...

plans to get a VAFC, and intake manifold...let me know if I am going the right way on the maniifold idea?

If your going to replace your manifold, you might as well get some cams at the same time. I'd stick with the skunk2 over the ITR.

you would have to get a skunk2(or other brand name) intake manifold.

the ITR intake manifold does not bolt up to the GSR head(without modification).

someone correct me if im wrong
