When my car warms up ('95 EG) the motor vibrates, then stops, vibrates, stops etc... The RPMs are not climbing when this is happening. Anybody have an idea whats going on?

 

YOu using stock mounts and bushings? Stiffer than normal mounts MIGHT cause somethign liek this....it really depends on persoanl perception though....I mean I'm using Mugen mounts and my **** vibrates a fair bit.

 

Im stock. SOHC VTEC. The only mods I added was a Intake and changed a hose. Ever since then ive gotten the shake.

 

Thats odd....neither of thsoe should have affected engein vibration. Unless its causing driveability problems I wouldn't worry about it.

 

Bad mounts is the first thing that popped into my head when I read this.

 

yep, I'd crawl under there and start checking mounts. I've got a mount that's getting ready to go out and every once in a while I get a little shake action.

 

Bear in mind that FWD transaxles shake alot more than a stadard RWD car anyway....I was watching my old LS run throught the gears when we had it up on a lift...that ****** moved alot!!
